MODISA-SIZA Account Deletion Request

This page explains how users of MODISA Teacher and SIZA Parents
can request deletion of their account-related data.
1. How to request deletion
- Send an email to support@modisa-siza.co.za.
- Use subject line:
Account Deletion Request.
- Include:
- Registered phone number
- Student code or teacher code
- School name
- Your full name
We may request additional details to verify identity before processing.
2. What data is deleted
- Account profile and app access mapping for the requester.
- Direct contact fields linked to the requester, where legally permitted.
- User-owned message threads and related content where removal is allowed by school or audit policy.
3. What may be retained
- Financial and payment records required for accounting and tax compliance.
- Security and audit logs required for fraud prevention, legal obligations, and incident response.
- School operational records that the school is legally required to keep.
4. Retention periods
- Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable operational period after identity verification.
- Compliance and audit records may be retained for up to 5 years, then deleted or anonymized.
